So, Luke Crane and Jared Sorensen have been hired by Hidden City Games -- the makers of the cute horses collectible card game Bella Sara, headed by CEO Peter D. Adkison (founder of Wizards of the Coast in 1990).

    GamingReport.com post

    RPGnet thread

    BW forums thread

I don't have any comments on it, just wanted to mention it as a news item.

Man, good for them. Normally, I'd raise an eyebrow, but I have huge respect for those guys and know they wouldn't sign a contract that hurt them.

That fucker Sorensen still owes me, like, six bucks. SELLOUT!

I wonder if their Secret project for which they gave stickets at GC 2007 is related or not.

Yeah, IIRC Luke's post on the BW board says that Donut was made under the auspices of Adkinson's company.

Ooh man. I had a My Little Pony big wheel as a child. Somehow this seems related.

Marathon Lacuna session + (Burning Wheel x Bella Sara) = Nightmares about despotic Unicorn overlords.

    Twitch.

Can't wait to see what these guys come up with. Perhaps our My Little Ponies InSpectres game in 2005 served as some inspiration?

I'm glad for them. It's great that people can do this as a self-sustaining hobby of sorts. It's how i intend to do my own thing, But I'm always glad to see good designers and writers getting paid actual cash on the barrelhead because someone recognizes that they make awesome from aether.

I think it's just Sorensen setting up his April Fool's joke.
