Posted By: Ben LehmanHow soon do you think you can start this? Is there other support you need?
Posted By: Ben LehmanWell, I'm in for as many copies as you need.
Posted By: Levi KornelsenI'm strongly tempted to put one of my PDF games into print just to take part in this.
Posted By: Ben LehmanHey Aaron: I'm willing to kick in at least two copies to anyone who wants to arrange this anywhere in the world. Just, you know, to get you started.

Hi Epidiah,
This is just a shout from the rafters: "yay!"
This is just a whine from the sewers: "wah! nothing to contribute." Yet. Not yet. All in good time.
Eppy, I can offer books (after my next print run — almost out), web space, and blog architecture in the form of WordPress. This is a very curious idea.
Posted By: jenskotI have no games but I will give you $100 to make this happen.Oh, I intend to use you for something much more valuable than your Benjamin.
Posted By: Lord MinxI like this, especially because I've been thinking about something similar here in Vienna.
Posted By: NovembreHeh, well, that probably won't happen. But maybe at the Einstein? Or the Merkur...Posted By: Lord MinxI like this, especially because I've been thinking about something similar here in Vienna.
Oh, man, indie games at Sacher Café... It would be just too good.

Vienna, Austria? Cuz I've got another good contact for you, if you're interested in making this happen there. His name is Harald Schindler and is very interested in inducing some indie game goodness in the community there.
Posted By: Joshua A.C. NewmanOooooh, interesting. I can't say if I get around to actually do the cafe exchange thing (in the near future), but I plan to buy a couple of demo-friendly Indie games and get my ass to the local convention.I like this, especially because I've been thinking about something similar here in Vienna.

Sweet.
I'll introduce you guys. Email me (joshua at glyphpress) and I'll point you to each other!
Eppy, I'm all over that sticker. Let's talk about it face to face!
Posted By: Robert BohlEppy, what about the thing we talked about where you have some code that identifies which copy they're looking at?
Posted By: Epidiah RavacholThe goal is to also provide the coffee shops with flyers.* Those can be coded. It'll also be easy for folks to remember the code, because they will be able to take the flyer home. We might be able to offer some incentive to use the code, and we can better control that incentive through expiration dates and replacing old flyers.
Bookmarks are great idea!

I finally got off my ass and finished the sticker!
Here it is, embiggened to be legible onscreen:

Posted By: JarrodSo, I frequent/live at/schmooze with the owner of a high culture artsy coffee house in town (Wichita, Kansas, an art mecca for the midwest, more galleries than gas stations). It's a great place for gaming and light dinner, too; and their boofshelf just screams "Put games on me!" I'll happily do the legwork and keep track of the books, if anyone's interested.
Posted By: joepubThat's a sexy sticker. The logo in no way denotes that the books are about play, games, group activities or social events though. Should it?
Posted By: ValamirWill you be picking up some more contributed games at GenCon?
Was that supposed to be a whisper?
....
What are you chewing?
