I knew we could count on you to produce one of these! Hurrah!
There is the possibility of somebody offering to negotiate before a win/loss, right? This is "Negotiating mid-dice" on page 19 sidebar.
Any time someone is ahead (getting advantage die) instead of taking advantage die and going into next round, we can negotiate there (the player ahead having slightly smaller stick then in an end-point negotiation).
Pickier points:
In noting what goes into dice, the "strike name from Owe list" for die option isn't noted in the first box.
It's not really a problem with Chart since anyone using it should have read rules etc., but "go to Negotiate" makes it sound a bit like there's a place on chart for that, the "Loser is Exhausted or Injured unless Negotiated Outcome accepted" box.
*sigh* wishing I had more chance to play IAWA, my skype group has died I think (time zones etc.).
Instead of Green/Red arrows, I suggest Yes/No next to the arrows, easier for all of us who can't tell red and black apart or who print in black and white.
Updated. I also fixed where mid-dice negotiation happens (it should happen between rounds between all participants if I'm reading correctly, not in the middle of a round after an action-answer exchange).
That's some excellent work there Ryan. I thought I'd share the IAWA handouts I made for the local Strategicon gatherings. Yours is much more complete I think. (Anatomy of Combat, Conflict Summary)
I expanded on my Wicked Dice Map because I wanted to emphasize a few things to my players and really break down the action into concrete steps for absolute beginners. The peach are from Vincent's suggestions instead of the text itself, the yellow are things my group often forgets.
Posted By: Paul T.What does "add a concrete detail" mean? Can you give an example?
Yeah, and is that from the book? I mean, I always forget things from the rules the first few times I play/run something, so I wouldn't be surprised if I missed it. That is a pretty sweet map though. I had printed out the other version and totally forgot to use it. I'll have to run off a copy of this one and actually put it out on the table the next time I play.
