Nerdly Beach Party is right around the corner, September 19-21. We have four timeslots to fill with games and events: Friday Evening, Saturday Afternoon, Saturday Evening, and Saturday Late Night. We will also see the return of morning ad-hoc gaming, which worked very well last time around.
(What didn't work very well last time around was our wiki, which was hammered by spammers since Spring. Consequently, we've moved to a sturdy WordPress blog at the same address, NerdlyBeachParty.org.)
If you would like to see what's being planned for NBP3, take a look at the Summer 2008 Events page. This page lists the events in their timeslots and links to descriptions. If you would like to sign up for an event, click on the link and add a comment to the game description.
If you would like to run an event at Nerdly Beach Party Summer 2008, drop a comment on the Call for Events page and take the three easy steps to register for a login account to start your event description. The NBP Steering Committee will list your game on the Events page as soon as we can.
OK, I'll be coming with my son Milo again. I'll be running Monster Island again, as he's been requesting it a bunch. Hopefully some other kid(s) will be coming. Otherwise I'll be doing more campy things during a couple slots to keep him entertained.
Registration closes* in approximately 1 hour! If you've been waffling about coming, now's the time to decide.
(*At least, it does if you expect to eat any of the camp-provided breakfast and lunch. We've still got some extra space, so if you want to show up with $35 and not eat any of the shared food, I suppose I can't complain)
